Safari purchases e-book platform developers Threepress for undisclosed sum

Digital library Safari Books Online has acquiredThreepress Consulting, creator of a HTML5 e-book platform and e-pub reading system, for an undisclosed sum. A joint venture between Pearson Education and O'Reilly Media, Safari's online and mobile subscription content includes more than 20,000 e-books and videos for professionals in technology, creative industries, business and management.
