Printing company VistaPrintwill buy self-service web design company Webs for USD117.5m in cash and restricted stock before the end of the month, in a deal conditional on continued employment of founding shareholders. The Webs staff will continue to operate their self-service web design site under the same name, serving its 100,000 paying subscribers while expanding VistaPrint's online marketing offerings. The deal accompanies this month's purchase of Dutch photo company Albumprinter as part of VistaPrint's growth acquisitions strategy.
