Free music service Grooveshark is the latest streaming site to fall foul of major labels as it faces possible joint litigation from the world’s three biggest record companies. Universal Music Group filed a large-scale copyright infringement suit against Grooveshark last month in United States District Court, Manhattan. Now, four anonymous sources tell the New York Times that Sony and Warner are expected to join in the litigation with a suit filed before Thursday.
