Beleaguered in-game ad startup, IGA Worldwide, is laying off a portion of its workforce, according to reports. A VentureBeat report, citing two sources, claims that the firm is letting a third of its 22 staff go, though IGA CEO, Justin Townsend, tells the website that the figure is closer to a quarter as the company focuses on “other priorities”. The reports come just a month after IGA snared an undisclosed investment from ad giant WPP.
