HP acquires Hiflex Software

Hewlett-Packard (HP) will acquire Hiflex Software, producers of print management software, based in Aachen, Germany. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, as it is a small acquisition. In fact, HP CEO Meg Whitman says 2012 will not see HP take part in any large mergers or acquisitions. "I would say there are going to be more acquisitions, in the sub-USD500m range would be my guess," she says. "We might get to USD1bn, but I doubt it."
