French conglomerate Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s top three advertising holding companies, is set to acquire Gomye, a Chinese agency with clients including China Mobile, China Telecom and Vanke Real Estate, the country’s largest residential developer. The deal, which was agreed for an undisclosed sum and has yet to be approved by local regulators, will see Gomye’sBeijingandChengduoffices re-branded as Publicis Modem Beijing and Publicis Modem Chengdu.
