Dublin-based startup Datahug has secured USD1.5 in seed funding for its enterprise relationship network. Funding came from Irish firm Oyster Technology Investments and Silicon Valley angel investor Ron Conway. Datahug's product acts as a private search engine that helps users find colleagues or business connections with potential customer leads, partners or recruits. The system is automated and users don't need to engage in heavy data entry. Pricing plans for the network start at EUR5 (USD7) per mailbox per month. Launched last year, Datahug won the Dublin Web Summit's Spark of Genius startup competition.
