Sencha lands USD15m for HTML5 app frameworks

Silicon Valley's Sencha announced USD15m in new funding at its third developer conference, along with the launch of a new HTML5 app framework. The Series B round was led by Jafco Ventures with participation from existing backers Sequoia Capital and Radar Partners. Sencha creates HTML5 tools for web and mobile developers to allow for a more cohesive user experience across multiple devices. Sencha's signature product, Sencha Ext JS, is a cross-browser JavaScript framework with customisable UI tools and an easy-to-use API for making rich web applications.
