Russian software firm 1C.ru snags USD200m

Russian software giant 1C.ru has landed USD200m in backing from Baring Vostok Capital Partners, which is taking a 9% stake in the firm as part of the deal. The company is behind the most popular ERP software for small businesses in Russia, according to Russian newspaper Vedomosti, reporting more than USD600m worth of sales last year. Analysts are reportedly expecting sales to rise a further 10% this year.
