Apple wins early patent ruling against HTC

Apple has won a preliminary patent ruling against Taiwanese handset maker HTC, its first success in its ongoing campaign against handset makers which use Google's Android operating system. A US International Trade Commission (ITC) judge has ruled that HTC breached two of the ten patents held by Apple, after the latter submitted a complaint in March last year.
