California-based Ortiva Wireless, which develops wireless video optimisation and streaming hardware and software for wireless operators, has raised USD2.5m in a combination of debt and rights to acquire securities, according to a regulatory filing from the company. Investors include Mission Ventures, Intel Capital, Artiman Ventures, and Comcast Ventures. The capital injection is part of the USD3.8m in financing that the firm is hoping to secure.
