Entrepreneurial programme Startup America, which has backing from the White House, has reeled in USD400m worth of new commitments from 15 high profile US companies including American Express, Google, HP, LinkedIn, Intuit and Microsoft. The funding comes after a previous multi-million dollar pledge from a group of 20 companies including IBM and Intel and comprises cash, services and goods.
