Netbooks are in decline as demand rises for tablet computers, according to research firm ChangeWave. Although the number of people planning to buy a laptop in the next three months has increased, only 14% say they will purchase a netbook, 10% below the number ChangeWave found in June 2009. Tablet computers were more popular among the respondents, with 26% planning to buy a tablet, 80% of whom said they will buy iPads. ChangeWave predicted the iPad would continue to hold a large share of the tablet market, claiming 95% of iPad owners reported satisfaction with the device.
