Growth of the iPad apps library is outpacing the original iPhone App Store, having hit 10,000 apps in two months compared with five months it took the original store to hit the same milestone in 2008. The figures show that the number of iPad apps has doubled in just six weeks, with developers now adding more than 1,000 apps every week. If this rate continues, numbers could double again by August and hit 35,000 by the end of the year.
