Apple claims to have sold 1m iPads in just 28 days, saying this is twice the rate of sales generated by the original iPhone. In beating a number of analyst predictions to reach this milestone Apple CEO Steve Jobs warned "demand continues to exceed supply". Apple has already pushed back the international launch of the iPad to late May, citing unprecedented demand for the device.
