Facebook buys photo service Divvyshot

Facebook is bolstering its photo service with the acquisition of Divvyshot, a startup that allows users to jointly edit and manage online photo albums. The social network is describing the deal as a "small talent acquisition", but Divvyshot founder Sam Odio hints that the company's technology will soon be integrated with Facebook's service. The deal comes a month after Google acquired Picnik, which allows users to edit photos stored in the cloud.
