Ericsson wins contract to expand Bharti Airtel network

Ericsson is expanding and upgrading Bharti Airtel's GSM network in 15 of Indian's 22 telecom circles in the next year thanks to a USD1.3bn contract from the Indian operator. Nokia's NSN unit won a USD700m deal in February for the remaining circles.
