Growing demand for smartphones, apps and developing technology will push revenues from mobile location-based services to USD12.7bn by 2014, according to a report by Juniper Research. The forecast suggests mobile location-based services will be one of the most prosperous sectors of the mobile app market. Juniper's 2014 figure is more than twice the amount Gartner expects users to spend on mobile apps this year.
