MySpace may be set to axe its US-focused Spanish-language site, MySpace Latino, as part of an ongoing cost-cutting exercise, according to online reports. The site was set up last year to allow advertisers to more easily target the growing number of Latino artists and Spanish-speaking users joining the social network. However, it has reportedly lost its MD, Victor Kong, as well as its VP of Hispanic sales and strategy, Manny Miravete. Tech blog Gigaom claims the site has not been refreshed in over a week.
