Apple rushes to fix iPhone security flaw

Apple is working to repair a serious security flaw in its iPhone operating system after a tip-off from a Mac OS X security expert. According to security researcher Charles Miller, the defect could allow an attacker to track the phone’s location via GPS, turn on the microphone to eavesdrop on conversations, or install malicious software.
