Sling Media co-founder in running for DirecTV top job

Sling Media co-founder Blake Krikorian is reportedly in the running to take over from Chase Carey as CEO of DirecTV. Krikorian left EchoStar, which bought Sling Media in 2007, earlier this year. It is unclear if there is a non-compete clause that would complicate a move to competitor DirecTV. Greg Maffei, CEO of Liberty Media, is also thought to be in contention for the position.
