Ericsson to build app stores for third parties

Telecoms equipment maker Ericsson is launching a cross-platform mobile app store service aimed at mobile operators which do not want to develop their own stores. The Swedish company says its stores will be available for entry-level phones, feature phones and smartphones running a range of operating systems.
