Amazon’s German Kindle launch stalls

Amazon’s plan to release the Kindle in Germany has reportedly stalled after negotiations between Amazon and the country’s two largest mobile operators, Vodafone and T-Mobile, broke down. The operators are reportedly demanding more money for providing the service than Amazon is prepared to pay. A wireless connection is fundamental to the e-book reader as it allows users to download content to the device.
