Ex-Total Music exec joins P2P firm LimeWire

Jason Herskowitz is set to join peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing company LimeWire as VP of product management. Herskowitz was previously VP of product management at TotalMusic, a service created by Universal Music and Sony in an attempt to combat file-sharing. The company was designed to produce new revenue streams from online music through subscriptions and ad-supported funding, but was shut down in February.
