Some 54% of the apps developed for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch have less than 1,000 active users, according to an AdMob report. The mobile ad marketplace said 14% have between 10,000 and 100,000 users, and only 5% of apps have over 100,000 users. The numbers are based on the 2,300 apps used by AdMob's 15m members in May.
