YouTube sees huge rise in consumer ads

YouTube is the top entertainment site in the US for consumer goods ads, taking a 24% share of the market in Q1, according to the latest Nielsen data. In total, YouTube served 637m image-based goods ads in the quarter, almost twice that of its closest entertainment site rival, AOL, and saw a 572% year-on-year increase in these ad impressions.
