Firefox maker Mozilla recorded more than 150m downloads for the latest version of its Firefox web browser in the first 24 hours after its release, according to Mozilla's director of community development, Asa Dotzler. The claim follows reports that the latest version of Apple's Safari browser, version 4.0, was downloaded 11m times in the three days following its release last week.
