Amazon is runner-up for US paid music downloads

Online retailer Amazon's MP3 store hosted 16% of all paid music downloads in the US in 2008, according to market research firm NPD. This means Amazon outperformed rivals Napster and Wal-Mart, which both hosted less than 5%.
