Cisco to buy Pure Digital for USD500m – Rumour

Cisco Systems is rumoured to be buying budget digital camcorder maker Pure Digital Technologies for more than USD500m.  Anonymous sources quoted by TechCrunch say the acquisition is “a done deal”. Pure Digital CEO and founder Jonathan Kaplan is expected to make USD80m on the sale.
