MySpace is set to join the OpenID initiative, a body that aims to standardise id logins across different websites, reports TechCrunch. MySpace may announce its backing for the scheme by as early as this week, making it the second largest partner to endorse the project to date. This comes after Yahoo! joined the project in January.
