Yell shares rise on rumours of Microsoft interest

Shares of Yell rose by more than 5% on Tuesday and 4% on Wednesday following rumours that Microsoft may be interested in bidding for the UK online phonebook firm. The news follows speculation in Jan that Google was eyeing the company, which has seen its market value drop sharply over the past year.
