Sequoia invests in stealth Israeli CDN startup, Cotendo

Sequoia has invested an undisclosed amount in Cotendo, an Israeli CDN startup still in stealth mode. Little is known about the company or the funding, which is posted on Sequoia's website. Sequoia simply states that the company offers "better performance and low operational costs". Most of the company's founding team previously worked at anti-virus firm Commtouch and are reportedly members of Meetup, a group "dedicated to exploring the IP Video revolution". Sequoia Capital Israel partner Haim Sadger led the round.
