Mobile advertising firm, Admoda, has teamed up with mobile content provider, Hungama Mobile in an undisclosed deal that will see the companies deliver mobile internet ad campaigns across central Asia. The advertising will start in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and will allow Hungama to promote its existing ad partners, including many global brands, across a large Asian market. The deal marks an attempt by Admoda to develop their mobile advertising reach in growing mobile entertainment areas and comes a month after Hungama signed a deal with Paramount Digital to distribute wireless and interactive games content in India.

Deal Details

Hungama has run ad campaigns in the past for brands such as McDonalds, Citibank, Apple and Coca-Cola. It offers customised marketing applications such as operator logos, ringtones, wallpapers and games. Admoda claims to be a global advertising network, which delivers mobile banners and text ads. The deal with Hungama reportedly comes after a search for partners that would enable it to deliver branded campaigns to central Asia. "Working with Hungama is hugely exciting and will allow us to fully leverage the enormous mobile advertising opportunity in central Asia," says MobVision CEO, Terry Jackson. London-based MobVision is Admoda's parent company, which launched its Admoda venture in summer 2006.
