Email marketing company, Zustek Corp has acquired marketing and technology firm Adverb Media for an undisclosed amount, and will rebrand it Zeta Interactive. The deal will merge Zustek with three firms owned by Adverb - direct response marketing firm DigitalGrit, creative brand strategist Temel and internet intelligence company Relevant noise. The combined company aims to cover a whole range of interactive marketing services, including email, search, social media mining, web development and creative services. "The days of working with multiple agencies and specialists with disparate platforms are coming to an end," says Zustek CEO, Al DiGuido, who will continue as CEO of Zeta. "We are forming Zeta Interactive in response to the growing demand for full-service firms that help businesses leverage the internet in its entirety to drive significant business results," adds former Adverb CEO Dan Lynn. The merged company will be based in New York, with a total worldwide staff of over 300 in the US and India. Zeta will serve a combined client base of over 200, including Time and Sony.
