The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is forming a committee, in an effort to increase user participation with mobile TV. The Participation TV Committee (PTV) will have representatives from mobile operators, broadcasters and portal providers and will work from the MMA's recently published guidelines for interactive TV. One aim of the committee will be to allow viewers to "to engage with their favourite shows in a consistent manner." This will include encouraging voting, mobile games based on TV and mobile user-generated content.
