TV18 acquires Indian online financial news agency, CRISIL MarketWire

TV18 has acquired Indian online financial news agency, CRISIL MarketWire (CMW). Financial details were not disclosed. CMW has bureaus in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai. Reports include MoneyWire, EquityReport, FundWire and CommodityWire. The company will be renamed as NewsWire18 following the close of the deal.
