Mobile advertising guidelines updated

Mobile advertising guidelines are being updated for the third time by the US Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to keep up with industry developments such as higher handset speeds. Mobile web banners, mobile web advertising units, mobile web response mechanisms and content guidelines will be covered in the revised rulings. Advertising guidelines now include clauses relating to advertisements not being misleading or deceptive, not being allowed to promote illegal products or services and clear identification of sponsors of advertising messages.
